Volunteer Opportunity: SHAC Liaison

The Diamond PTA is looking for a liaison to the School Health Advisory Council (SHAC), which is a collaborative effort of the Lexington schools, students, family, town, and community organizations. The Lexington SHAC addresses the health and academic success of all students through a coordinated, comprehensive school and community approach. The full SHAC committee will meet two more times this academic year, and also has subcommittees including a Substance Abuse Task Force, an LGBTQ Task Force, an LPS Wellness Committee, and a Parent Academy Planning Committee. Please contact us at or Julie Fenn at if you have any questions or are interested.
