📣 Now Accepting Candidates for Diamond's School Site Council – Get Involved!

Diamond Middle School is looking for three passionate parents to step up and help shape the future of our school! We have two openings for a two-year term and one for a one-year term on the School Site Council, starting Fall 2025 — and we want YOU to consider running!

The School Site Council (SSC) is a vital part of Diamond’s leadership team. Made up of parents, teachers, and community members, the SSC works closely with the Principal to:

  • Identify the educational needs of our students

  • Set meaningful school-wide goals

  • Review and help shape the annual budget

  • Develop and support the School Improvement Plan

Serving on the SSC is a fantastic way to make a real impact on your child’s education — and to stay informed and involved in key school decisions. Parent representatives typically serve a two-year term (unless their child leaves Diamond earlier), and meetings are held virtually at 7:00 a.m., one Thursday per month.

🍪 Diamond MS Cookie Dough Fundraiser – Supporting YOUR CHILD'S 8th Grade DC Trip!

Parents, our annual Cookie Dough Sale is here – and it’s one of the biggest fundraisers of the year to support the 8th grade trip to Washington, D.C.!

Here’s why it matters:

  • Every dollar raised goes directly into your child’s grade-level account.

  • These funds provide scholarships and financial assistance so that every student can experience the 8th grade trip, regardless of cost.

  • The more each grade participates now, the more support is available when it’s their turn to go!

How to Help:

  • Buy or Sell Cookie Dough – Sales run Monday, Sept. 15 – Friday, Sept. 26. Your child will bring home a sales envelope on Wednesday, Sept 10th with all the details.

  • Order Online – Friends and family near and far can order directly and have cookie dough shipped to their home (small shipping fee applies).

  • Direct Donations – Not a cookie fan? No problem! Send in a check made out to Diamond Middle School (note your child’s grade). 100% goes to the grade-level fund.

Important Notes for Students:

  • Only sell to people you know.

  • Collect money when you take the order - VERY important!

  • Turn in all orders and money to homeroom teachers by Friday, Sept. 26.

This fundraiser is critical to making the DC trip possible for everyone—and it’s a fun, delicious way to contribute. Thank you in advance for helping us make this year’s Cookie Dough Sale a huge success!
