What We Do
At Diamond Middle School, the PTO is more than just a parent group - we’re a community of families working together to support students, teachers, and the school we all care about. Our goal is to be a resource for families, a partner to the administration and staff, and an advocate for the well-being of every child.
Here’s how we make that happen:
Keep Families Connected – We share weekly newsletters and updates about what’s happening at Diamond and in Lexington, plus provide both printed and online directories for PTO members.
Support Teachers & Students – From classroom grants and funding after-school clubs to providing a discretionary fund for the principal, we make sure our teachers and students have what they need to thrive.
Build Community – We host student socials, sponsor parent events, provide teacher appreciation lunches, offer spirit wear, and bring in guest speakers. These events give families opportunities to engage with the school, connect with administrators, and get to know one another.
Create Opportunities to Share Your Talents – Whether you’re skilled in tech, finance, hospitality, event planning, or just enjoy pitching in where needed, there’s a place for you in our fun and collaborative PTO community. Volunteering is also a great way to meet other parents who like to get involved.
All of this is possible thanks to our PTO memberships and donations. Every contribution goes directly back into programs and initiatives that make Diamond a strong, vibrant community.
